Reflections, with Butterflies Memory Loss Support Group.

[21 May 2017]

In the last week members of the Butterflies Memory Loss Support Group, Hull, have launched their 2nd exhibition for their Hull 2017 City of Culture 'Community Project'. This time they're reflecting on the diagnosis of dementia, but they do so with their usual resilience and creativity.

The week included a series of glass percussion workshops, led by visiting musician Brendan Murphy. Quite a remarkable week.

It's quite nice for people to realise that when they do start coming to things, like ours and other groups in the city, that they can live well and they can still enjoy life.
